    1. [CAGLE] Cagle Journal Look-up

    3. I would appreciate a Cagle Journal look-up from someone who has back issues. On p. 204 of Jimmie B. Cagle's book, he notes that Paul Cagle (Leonard, Leonhart) served in the War of 1812. His source of information on Paul is the Cagle Journal for July 1994, and the October, November, and December 1997 issues. I have tried to get those particular issues from John G. Cagle with no luck. Is there anyone who can tell me what John G. Cagle's primary source was relating to Paul Cagle's war service? I've tried the National Archives and the Tennessee State Archives with no success. Thanks. Larry Cagle

I have almost every issue of the Cagle Journal, but it will take me some time to go through them and find the issues relevant to Paul Cagle. I have rifled through them so many times in the past that they are no longer in chronological order. So be patient, and don't hesitate to goad me if you don't hear from me soon. Has anyone ever been able to determine what John Cagle's status is? Thanks, Helena Howell

    3. David Cagle gave me the answer, so don't trouble yourself looking it up. Thanks, anyway, Helena.
