Hi David and Val. I have some Mary Cagles in my family. If you'll give me some dates I will look for you to see what I can find. I also have several Marys that married into the Cagle family. David, I have no information about any of the siblings of William James, his father John M., or John's father George W. I'm I know that George and Matilda moved to Fannin Co., Texas. John apparently stayed behind with his wife. I know virtually nothing about Henry Jr. (George's father) and our common ancestor. Also, I note that they were somehow related to some Bishops of Hardin Co. I think it was George's sister Dora that married a Bishop. I am very interested in this because I have Hardin Co. Bishops in one of my other lines that moved to Dunklin Co. Missouri sometime before 1870 I believe. I live in Dunklin Co., Missouri also by the way. I also note that George W has a William Huling living with him or very near him which I believe was a brother-in-law. This is how I was able to ascertain that the George W in my line was the same George as the son of Henry Jr. Do you know where any of the older Cagles in our lines are buried? The oldest grave record of any Cagle's that I have is William James. ALSO I have lots of Cagle pictures of William James' children. Also, what can anyone tell me about Leonhart Kegel? I've done my research and found a transcription of the passengers on the ship Loyal Judith (1732). He is listed as "Lenhart Kegill" or "Lenhart Kegell", depending on which transcription you find. I've also done further research on the Palantine region of Western Germany and discovered a lot about the conditions of political unrest of the time period before Leonhart Kegel left Germany. Somewhere, I read that Leonhart spent time in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Is that true?? It would make sense because he could have followed the Rhine River to Rotterdam. Any info on him would be greatly appreciated. If you are on ancestry.com, please contact me through silvertrill@yahoo.com. My grandfather is an only child and all of his ancestors are now deceased. He'd love to know where more of his family is. I will be happy to send you an invitation to view our tree and see if there are connections if anyone is interested. Thanks so much for your response! --Micah R. Allen-- David Cagle <dcagle1@charter.net> wrote: Micah, How can I help?
