The next six are thought to be from his second marriage to Catarina "Caty" Seitz/Sides:" end of snip Perhaps I am confused, but the information I have shows that the John mentioned above married Catherine LNU, and that his brother Henry (about 1730-1802) was married to Caterena SEITZ/SIDES. I am descended from their daughter Inna Caterena who married Joseph COCKMAN. I will greatly appreciate any help with this. Thanks! This Cagle/Seitz relationship has piqued my interest. My wife has a Seitz line. She is a descendant of Vachel Lankford, who was married to Sarah Salome Seitz, daughter of Andrew Seitz and Mary Magdalena Bost. I am a descendant of Valentine Cagle/John Cagle/Isaac Cagle, etc. My Cagle ancestors and her Seitz and Bost ancestors were all in Warren County, Tennessee in the early 1800's. They all migrated to Alabama in the 1830-1840 time frame. (I have seen some transcribed church records from Warren County from the early 1800's that showed them as being members of the same church.) Just for curiosity's sake, I'd love to find out how these families might have been related. My wife has always said that I'd prove that she and I were cousins one day. She may be right.
