The Bennetts came to settle in Buncombe Co., NC. A son was named Hardiman Bennett. The Fords (or at least some of them) first moved to SC and then to GA where some of the children were named Hardiman Ford, Bennett Ford, and Calloway Ford. The Ford family in Henry were also affiliated with the Reno/Reneau, Pharris/Farris, and Posey family - all of which were affiliated with the Ford family as they moved from MD to CUlpepper VA and then down the midland Wagon Rd to Henry Co., VA into NC, and then into SC. Daniel and Mary Ford had at least three children per the Henry COunty Records - David, Daniel, and a daughter. Daniel married Agatha Walker (her family also resided in Henry COUnty, VA).
