    3. Sunday, Mar 25, 2007, The Oklahoman-Obituary Gene Dewaine Cagle, 79, a lifetime resident of OK, passed away Mar 23, 2007. He was born Sept 28, 1927 in Wewoka, OK to Otto & Audrey Viola Cagle. During WWII, Gene honorably served his country in the US Navy as an Electritian's Mate 2d Class. He provided a warm & loving home for his family by working as a skilled painter and was a member of the Painters Union Local #807. A loving husband, devoted father and adoring grandfather, Gene will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Proceded in death by his parents, sisters, Boots Schneider & Essie Hulsey; brother Max Cagle; and grandsons, Zach Adams Y Grant Cagle. Gene leaves wonderful memories that will be cherished by his loving wife, Alta Mae Carpenter Cagle of the home; son, Gary Cagle; daughters, Debbie Wilson & Carla Ray; brother, Albert Cagle; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchilsren. Gaveside services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 26, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Note: Gene Dewaine Cagle is a ggrandson of David Crockett and Mary (Herndon) Cagle thru his son Otto A Sr and Otto A Jr Cagle.
