    3. John Littleton Ingram, b. 1 Jan 1788, son of John and Ruth Ingram did in fact, marry Anna Mary Cagle, 1794-1829, dau of Valentine Sr and Catherine Cagle. Anna Mary Cagle was Baptised on 28 Jan 1798. Info taken from the minutes of the St John's Lutheran Church, which was located in the Dutch Buffalo Creek area of Cabarrus County. This latter account might be more nearly correct, since the Bear Creek Church, according to most authorities, was not founded until 1806.
