Hi, Not quite as easy as you may expect :-) I've been on vacation. Did anyone respond to your question regarding this William C Cagle? He has been my brick wall for the last five years. I am descended from William and Polly and still live in Hall Co, GA. Back a couple of years ago, I received info that seemed to point to William being the son of an Honor Cagle (female) from Habersham Co, GA. I've been unable to find ANY info on who she was married to. (To start with it appeared that Honor was a male, but through research from the Cagle journals, it appears that Honor was a female.) Although, I've been unable to find "proof" of any of this. How does this line up with what you've found? Hi Jill, I was going to tell Ashley the same thing, but Lee beat me to it If I could figure out William Cagle's parentage I would be one happy person. You're from Adler Cagle's line right? Mine comes in through Jacob C. I have no idea what the line is any more than anyone else on this list, but for some reason I just keep thinking that name Cornelius sure is popular in our Cagle line.
