David: I had a note around here somewhere that Charles appeared briefly in either, Missouri or Arkansas on a census or rather it was thought it was this Charles because of his age and the fact that he could not be connected to any of the families in the area. I wish I could find the note for you but, alas I have spent the better part of two hours hunting it to no avail; however, I did find other material I had been looking for. I might add, I have no information on the daughters, Caroline Rhoda, Nancy nor Deborah either. I did find that Elizabeth (Freeman) Cagle returned to Hardin County. I also, found a note stating decendents of Henry (George's father) settled in Morgan/Marshall Counties Alabama. This might be a good place to investigate. Do you have the DOB of George and the date of death for Elizabeth. I assume they were married in Hardin County.
