I received a letter from John G. Cagle today and this is what he had to say , Miinister's and Elder: License; Registered, Indian Territory, Oklahoma 1843-1944. For the counties of the Old Choctaw Nation: LeFlor 1891-1935 No Cagle listed Latimer 1875-1941 " " Pittsburg, 1843-1894 " " Haskell 1875-1935 C.A. Cagle, license Registered in Book 1, page 134 (No date)Based on his original crodetials, issued Sept. 3, 1871 Newton County, Ar. This book does not give the present location of the original Licens Book for Haskell Co. Ok, but I would guess that a copy of photo copy migt be found at the Oklahoma State Archives in Oklahoma City, or the Choctaw Tribal Archives. Yor will recall that Charles A. Cagle wa in Haskell Co. Oklahoma at the time of the 1920 census , before moving back to Arkansas. Also look at the Arkansas History Commission on Charles original license of 1871 in Newton Co. , Arkansas .
