Looks like we are off to a good start on, Leonhart's children. Due to the lack of records in Germany, we have to use what was available in the USA. We would all love to find marriage, baptismal, school, land and other records. These records at one time, existed in Germany. Due to all types of disasters, they were destroyed. There are however, records in Germany yet to be found. One of the keys to identifing his children in the USA, are records found when these young men became of age. Once they married, bought & sold land, joined the armed forces, etc; then they could be placed. At one time there were several family bibles. These were at these time periods, the only record of birth, marriage, & death. However, finding these good books with their wealth of information, is hard to do. Earl
