Daniel: If you are referring to a Coat of Arms, and I think you are, yes, there is a Coat of Arms for Kegel. I don't know if he was a descendent of ours; however, it is officially documented in Burke's General Armory which is available in most libraries. I am still trying to get the name of the Kegel for whom the Arms were awarded. Most German Coats of Arms were awarded during the Christian Crusades and we have not researched our lineage back that far, however, the name for the Coat is Kegel. I will report what I find on the list as soon as I have the information.
