Lee, Yes, Christian was referred to as Red Cagle, because of his red hair. In doing a little research I found he played for Army and was a cadet at West Point. In his 1929 season he was named all American and made the cover of Time magazine in that year. The reason I was interested was because I recently purchased a copy of that Time magazine at an online auction and was interested to know what line he was connected to. Maybe when the magazine arrives it will have a referrence to his family in the article that will give us a clue.
