    3. LaMona and The Cagle Gang, This is another one of those cases that is not probable. David was born in 1728, therefore it is not likely that his son John would have been born in 1740 when David was 12 years old. It sure would be nice if we could somehow pin down these birth dates a little closer. In the Mar. 1991 issue of the "Cagle Journal," John G. states that John, son of David makes his first appearance in the North Carolina records. The record shows " David Kagle and son John Kagle." in an undated Rowan Co., NC Tax List in about 1768 or 69. This would suggest to me that John became of age ca 1868-69 and would give him a birth date of ca 1768. Any thoughts on this? Keep up the good work.
