When I was ten, my father brought George to live with us, so he would be taught to fram, on June 2, 1908, Greorge was sent out about a quater of a mile from our house to toll up the brush heaps for burning, about 10:00 a.m. George cagme running to the house very scared and excited, he enter the front door calling "Aunt Claudia" where is Dellia. My mother replieded, she is playing in the back yard. No No said George exclaimed, she is an angel ! she has on a white robe and she has wings, I saw her flying from one brush to another, it was Dellia, I know it was . He ran to the back yard looking for Dellia, she was playing and Geroge saw her there, and nothing was wrong, yet he was convinced that he seen her as an angel. on June 4th. just two days after George's illusion, Dellia became ill, and on June 9th she was claimed by death . Valentine 1750, Jacob 1755 the two brothers moved to Tennessee in 1812, the trip was made overland , through the gap of the Appalachian Mountins from Charleston, South Carolina to New Orleans and then to LA. and up to the Mississippi and Tennessee rivers to Warren County. Notes for Easter Cagle: Tombstone of Easter Cagle 1815-1885 is buried at old Buttahatchie School Cemetery ,Eastern Marion County, Alabama . The stone appears to be had carved and lettered. alsois lined with stone slabs onthe sides of the grave, and topped with a single flat coffin-shaped slab, a number of Cagel graves of this type are found throughout the South . there is another stone the same way behind her, but the name can't be read .
