He married Susannah * Cagle 1804 in Moore County, North Carolina, daughter of George Cagle and Rebecca Cagle. Charles married his 1st cousin Susannah Cagle , who was the daughter of George Cagle d-1825 of Montgomery (present Stanly ) Co. Tennessee. Warren County, Tennessee Will Books 1-3 (1827-1858) pg. 511. 25 Sept. 1842. Will of Charles Cagle . I, Charles Cagle, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament. First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Susannah Cagle the home plantation, stock, furniture, tools, bee hives, lands and property during her natural life to manage as she think proper as to destroy nothing , and then to belong to my heirs: William Moffitt, Lewis Carmack, David Cagle, Henry Cagle , Littleton Cagle, A. J. Hill. I also bequeath to my daughter Margaret an equal part of my estate with the rest of my heirs. I appoint A. J. Hill and David Cagle my sole excutors. Notes for Susannah * Cagle: 1850 Warren County , Tennessee Cagle , Susan C. 69 NC No Occupation listed /$600 Illit. p.044 (widow of Charles Cagle of 1830 Bledsoe County, Tennessee and who died in Warrn County, Tennesse 1843, Susannah was the daughter of George Cagle and Rebecca Cagle . George was the son of old David b-1728, . His younger brother Jacob b-1755 , was the father of Charles Cagle . They were 1st. cousins, .Susannah went to Bledsoe County, Tennessee. After death of Charles Susannah lived with her son Henry Cagle and wife Martha and children. Susannah died after 1850. There is a will dated for Charles Cagle dated September 25, 1842 , Warren County , TN. All of their children are listed also the daughters husbands are listed. Other date for the will is November 04, 1843, so he probably died a little earlier than this date that was given above. Children of Charles Cagle and Susannah Cagle are: 2 i. Elizabeth5 Cagle, born 1805 in Moore County, Noth Carolina. She married William M. Moffitt 1829 in Warren County Tennessee. Rebecca Cagle, born July 19, 1808 in Warren County, Tennessee; died January 01, 1858 in Van Buren County, Missouri. She married Lewis Carmack 1830 in Warren County, Tennessee. Notes for Rebecca Cagle: Rebecca and Lewis left 1850 and settled in Pulaski County, Missouri. This is from the Bledsoe county, Tennessee deed book L page 347. Charles Cagle of Warren county, Tennessee, heirs were: William Moffett and wife Elizabeth (Cagle) , Lewis Carmack and wife Rebecca of Van Buren County, Tennessee. Abner Russell and wife Margaret of Maion County Tennessee . David Cagel Littleton Cagle and his wife Catherine of Warren County, Tennessee. Henry Cagle of Franklin County, Tennessee. Charles C. , Lewis Carmack wife Rebecca Cagle Carmack and there son Henry are all buried at a Farm Cemetery on teh land which once was their farm. It is located between Waynsville and Crocker ,Missouri Most of ther children are buried at Crocker Cemetery . In a book "Bledsoe county, Tenn-A-History" in the appendex under "Indian Wars Cherokees and Seminoles" are listed Lewis Carmack and David Cagel . Judy thinks they were members of a Militia that was called up to go to florida and fight the indians. (dose not know if they went or not). In 1830 family was in Warren County, Tennessee, in 1840 they were in Wilson County, Tennessee , and 1850 they wre in Van Buren County, Tennessee. and then went to Missouri sometine after 1845. This information is from Judy Carmack French, she is a decenent of Rebecca Cagle . Notes for Lewis Carmack: Lewis Carmack was born in Tennessee, His parents crossed the Gap and settled at the foot of the mountins. He was in Warren County, tennessee in 1830 . Lewis is listed as fighting in teh Cherokee and Seminole wars in 1836 - 1838 in "Bledsoe County , Tennessee History" by Elizabeth Parham Robnett. Infromation on the Carmack Family was sent to me by Judy Carmack and a Dale Carmack. 5 iv. Eliza Jane "Eliza" Cagle, born 1809 in Warren County, Tennessee. She married Andrew J. Hill 1832 in Warren County, Tennessee. 6 v. Littleton Young Cagle, born 1810 in Warren County, North Carolina; died March 1889 in Brockdell, Bledsoe County, Tennessee. He married Lucinda Catherine "Catherine" Ross 1835 in Tennessee. Notes: Littleton Young Cagle died in Brocdell, Bledsoe County, Tennessee, and he is burried at the Cagel Cemetery in Bledsoe County, he died at the age of 79. Littleton & Catharine are both buried at the Cagle Cemetery in Brockdell, Bledsoe Co. TN. Littleton's parent were Charles Cagle born Feb. 11, 1780 in North Carolina , (He was the son of Jacob Cagle ,1755) Susannah Cagle was born in 1781 in Montgomery County, North Carolina in 1781, (and she was the daughter of George Cagle and Rebecca Cagle ) (Geroge and Jacob where brothers , the sons of Johan Dewalt (Theobald) David Cagle , David was the son of Leonhart Kegell from Germany). Sons, John, Henry, and Littleton Jr. all moved to Bledsoe County, Tennessee. And sons Linzey , William and Leonard C. all moved to Madison County, Alabama. David Benjamin Cagle, born 1811 in Warren County, Tennessee; died 1880 in Caddo Twonship, Clark County, Arkansas. He married (1) Elizabeth Carmichael 1830 in Warren County, Tennessee.
