My mother said she was related to the Stokes. Henry was married at least twice. First marriage to ? produced Jimmy and Johnny, they were both ministers with large familys. Henry m2 Catherine Stokes? had Will, Ella, Charlie, and Larah born 1879 Ill. Larahs mother died when she was a baby. Jimmy and Johnny helped Henry raise Larah. Mom remembers her aunt and uncles well. Charlie was paralized in his legs and used a cart with his hands to push himself around. Will looked and acted like an Indian. Henry was born in Tn.(I think Warren Co.), had at least Larah in Ill., was supposed to have lived in Ok.at one time, lived in Ky. with his daughter and died in Tn. Thanks anyway if you can't help.
