John, Looks like your still digging on this Cagle bunch. I don't believe that David and Rachel fits into the line you have below. I thought the line ran as follows: Leonard, b. 1684 Henry Sr., d. 1802 Moore Co., NC Peter, ca 1775-1842. I had considered David to be a brother of Henry, Sr.? I hope someone that knows the German language comes up with another meaning of CAGLE, KEGILL, KAIGLE, whatever, that is a little better than Cone or Pin? I once saw a definition that mentioned stumps or stubs or something like that.
