    3. Hi Nancy or anyone else who has the answer: Nancy can you tell me who was the father of Leonard 1770-1840s of Stanley County, North Carolina, who apparantly had a son Jacob 1790-1840 who inturn had a son Samuel b. ca 1816, with wife Esther, children: Jonathan, Nancy, Irena, Harvey, James M., George W., and Mary J. who appear on the Marion Co., AL., Haleyville P. O. US Fed Census for 1860. I am having trouble attaching this family group to anyone. Also, Can you tell me what family group Jacob of 1840 Pauding with wife Margaret and children Samuel and Benjamin. Were there other children of this marriage? Thanks, Lee Moore, OK 10-27-36 P.S. Haralson County holds particular significance for me since it is the area from which most of my immediate family originated. I just returned from a visit there where I viewed and took pictures of the original Ben Franklin log cabin. Augustus, my G.Grandfather later lived in that cabin with his young wife Sabra Anna Hart. My grandfather, John R. was born in that cabin. We also, located the graves of Ben and Parthena only about a mile from the log cabin on the east side of Hwy 100 at the 16 Mile marker. I gathered other valuable information, but this was the highlight of my trip. Most of this was a result of information you had previously provided me with. I owe you a great debt of gratitude. ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
