Nancy and Jim, The will of John "Dutchman" Cagle does not list a son Valentine. I think that the last record of Valentine may have been an 1815 land grant in Warren Co., TN? Some have considered that Valentine may have been the son of David Cagle, 1728-1780's as they both lived in the Mecklenburg-Cabarrus Co. areas of NC.
