Here is my Cagle & Fox family Descendants of Gatus Fox Generation No. 1 1. Gatus1 Fox was born January 06, 1836 in Missouri, and died June 04, 1913. He married Mary Elizabeth "Candy" Standridge January 30, 1890 in Quincy , Newton County, Arkansas, daughter of Jeremiah Standridge and Nancy Cagle. Notes for Gatus Fox: Gatus Fox was a Veteran of Company E., 2nd Arkansas Infantry, in the Civil War. Gatus and Candy had six children . Notes for Mary Elizabeth "Candy" Standridge: 1880 Census Mary E. was 10 years old , when the census was taken May 31, 1880 in Cassia County, Idaho . Mary E. "Candy" was riding in a wagon and it was hit by a train and she was killed , near Mena ,Polk County, Akarnsas. Monroe Standridge was Mary E. Standridge's 1st. cousin .
