I haven't been able to find any information on my husband's great-grandfather, Elijah Cagle. What little I know about him is that he was born around 1870, lived for awhile in Illinois, and then went on a wagon train to Washington (the state). My husband's great-grandmother, Cassie Boucher, was also on the wagon train. They had a son, Raymond Earl Cagle in July of 1900, but as far as I know, they were never married. Elijah went to see his son once when Ray was small, but the story is that he had some trouble with Indians and left, supposedly going back to Illinois. Does anyone have any information on this particular Elijah Cagle or know which branch of the family he belongs to? Carolyn Cagle
