David did have a son Henry Cagle, Sr., but he was married to a Wagoner and had children, Henry Jr., George, Charles and David. Henry Cagle, Jr. and his brother George Cagle moved to New Madrid Co., MO in 1838. Some of their descendants later lived near Morehouse Mo. Are there any descendants of these Morehouse Cagles out there somewhere? David Hardin Co., TN ________________________ David & List, Like alot of researchers I collect data on alot of different people, in this case Cagle's. Morehouse, Mo; is located in Scott County. Some time back I copied some Cagle, data from the 1870 census. There was a Henry Kagle 39, Catherine 25, Joseph 13, Melville 10, Martha J. 11, Sarah A. 2, John 9, William P. 1. There also was two households of Cagle's, who listed there place of birth as Switzerland. Peter Cagle 54, Mary 58, & John 16 b. Mo. Living close by was Peter Jr. 27, Susannah 21 b.Mo. & Joseph 8 months old b.Mo. The big question for me has always been "Are these Cagle's all Related?" Was this Peter Cagle Sr. b. abt. 1816, from the small country of Switzerland related to Leonhart Kegel b.1684 in Germany? Could he be from the same family line? More research & time may answer these & other questions. There were several Cagle's, who migrated to Missouri. Earl
