I am a desendant of Jacob Cagle. According to the census records I've found, Jacob Cagle was born in South or North Carolina in approx. 1797. I have no record of his death. Jacob was in Kentucky from 1840 till 1870. Jacob Cagle married Maervia Curry . Maervia Curry was born in Ky. in approx. 1807. I have no record of her death. They had at least eight children. dau.- Josephine Cagle born 1830 in Ky. dau.- S.E. or L.E. Cagle born 1831 or 1832 in Ky. dau.- A.L. Cagle born 1834 in Ky. dau.- Betsy B. Cagle born 1836 in Ky. dau.- C.F. Cagle born 1839 in Ky. dau.- L.L.F. Cagle born 1843 in Ky. son - A.S. Cagle born 1844 in Ky. son - M.M. Cagle born 1846 or 1847 in Ky.
