The big question? Is this John Cagle the son of Charles Cagle d. ca 1801 (1803 estate papers) or George Cagle c. 1750 d. 6 Nov 1825? John G. Cagle, after discovering the Elias Horn Will (CAGLE JOURNAL December 1995, page 6), seemed to lean toward the possibility John could be the son of Charles. The chart of George Cagle's (d. 6 Nov 1825) children, prepared by Mr. Luther, Burchinal which APPEARS in John G. Cagle's, CAGLE JOURNAL, June 1991, page 4, shows George having a son John (b. 1780 d. 1850) who probably went to TN. Are both references speaking of the same person, or are we looking at two people with similar birthdates places of residence? How about some opinions on this subject? Jimmy B.
