Ok, here is my basic ensemble of Cagle's......I am comfortable with generations 1-7, with numbers 8-10 being the roadblock. I've yet to discover but two people that claim Karl is in their lineage, and I've yet to see any supporting documents on this guy and his descendants. The most interesting piece of the puzzle was with Lee Elbridge Cagle. His mother died shortly after his birth in Feb 1880. His parents Robert and Sarah married October 1879. Lee was found in the McNairy county 1880 census living with the Luttrell family as an orphan. His father Robert, and an 8 year old Allen Cagle was living with the Pettigrews. I don't know where Allen came from or went.
