Earl, The 1810 census for Warren Co., Ky shows: Leonard Cagle 2001-001 Sampson Cagle 001-201 It has been suggested that these Cagles were sons of Leonard Cagle, d. ca 1805 GA? These appear to be the Cagles your are referring to. Leonard's wife was Elizabeth who was born in 1788. Jacob Cagle of Taylor Co., KY was born in 1796 and was just 12 years younger than Elizabeth. John G. Cagle indicates that Lindsay Cagle, b. 1807 was the oldest son of Leonard and Elizabeth. Perhaps Jacob could be a younger brother of Leonard? Need some help from you KY Cagles.
