Good Morning List, Hope everyone had a good Labor Day Week-end! I have some additional information to share about a Keagle family from PA starting in the 1760's that later shows up in Illinois with a name change to Cagle. I've posted below what I have gleaned from a variety of sources including LDS, 2 Cagle researchers and some postings on Query Boards in various PA counties. As you look at the information I would like you to note that there MAY be a connection to Moore Co, NC. If that is the case and that connection can be proven then I think this is a "Cagle" family that remained and some of whom still are in PA. Second, so you understand PA geography, Cumberland Co mentioned in the information is SW of Harrisburg and about 70 miles west of Berks Co. Finally, remember that this information is speculation put out for discussion and further research. LDS also shows him d. 1860 Moore Co, NC --John Samuel b. 1796 --George b. 1798, PA --David b. 1798 PA --Mary b. 1803 --Henry b. 1805 -- Samuel b. 1808 -- Margaret b. 1809.
