Cagle married Mahala D. Hazell on September 28, 1887 at the bride's residence. The marriage bond was issued in Green County, Kentucky on September 26, 1887. The witnesses were John Reeves and Clan Wade. The certificate was signed by J.F. Bloyd. Mahala D. Hazell's father was Jeff Hazell. Mahala D. Hazell was born in Green County, Kentucky on September 13, 1867. Mahala D. Hazell died in Larue County, Kentucky on August 25, 1889.
