On the 1880 census of Lamar County, Texas, he and his parents were born in Georgia.     He was not in Lamar County before the 1880 census. He married Martha Caroline Foster (Mattie) in 1878 in Texas. He may have been in Oklahoma for a time. I believe his mother was an Indian. He was born in 1849 and died in 1920 (buried in Lamar Co., TX). Mack and Mattie had the following children: Minnie, Frank, Rufus, Nell, Ethel, Maude and Sally. Any help would be much appreciated.
