    3. You may be right according to modern genealogy. I've just never heard of half anything, other than brothers and sisters. It may just be my location but after it leaves brother and sister we are just cousins, if blood related.... If not blood related, then "step"-brother or sister. After that they are just So and So's cousin. 3. Sandra I have been here all the time. I have been amused by all the needs and I saw Lee was doing a good job. I just have not had a level head here lately I lost my Bob 17 Dec 2006 and have been trying to clear up every thing and get me settled. I have been updating my Cagle program, and all of you are welcomed to view my URL it on line at World connect project where Lee and Ashley Cagle have theirs Also, if any one sees something to be corrected let me know. I do know our Cagle cousins are fine people and have found it a joy to be apart of you. PS I just came from Ozark, AR the 27 of June, and visited my Cagle relatives. 1. [CAGLE] Anne Mary Cagle Dau of Old Valentine
    2. Lee sent the information of the marriage of John Littleton Ingram and Anne Mary Cagle. I have the copy of the baptismal records from John C Cagle's book the part of Anne's was hard to see. Does anyone have a good copy. I do not have information about her and marriage date. I believe that she and John were Baptised on the same date? His Bible Records (of which I have a copy) states John Cagle son of Valentine Cagle was born July the 15th 1798.Thank for the information. 3. Not true, according to my gedcom genealogy program. My great grandfather, William David King, married Carrie Vetterline and had three children before they divorced. He then married my great grandmother, Lyddia Alice Poindexter. They together had one child, my grandmother, Gladys King. I have been in touch with one of Carrie and William's great grandchildren who lives in Kansas. She, according to my genealogy program, is my half 2nd cousin. Her mother and my mother were half first cousins. Her grandmother and my grandmother were half-sisters. So it goes: half-sister (or brother), then the offspring of these would be half-cousins, and the offspring of these cousins would be half 2nd cousins. 2. Lee, I agree with Sandra, you can get things stirred up with very little effort. I think we have the half cousins identified now, and I don't want any cousins "removed" until they are ready to go. I had one fifth-cousin and I was his half-gallon cousin, he was always running out of something to drink. Best wishes to all you good, dedicated researchers. Earl L. Cagle, Sr.

    1. [CAGLE] Mary Adeline Cagle
    2. Micah Allen
    3. To List and Val (I think) Someone, I think it was Val wrote to the list asking if anyone had information on Mary Adeline Cagle. John Cagle (b.1853, MO) and the subject of so many of my posts had a daughter Mary Cagle. On Missouri's vital record site is a wealth of resources that can potentially help anyone looking for Cagles with ancestors that were born, lived, or died in Missouri counties. Mostly, you'll find 1910-1956 death certificates to be the most valuable because pre-1910 info is only found for counties outside the Missouri Bootheel region. I found a record for Mary Adeline Cagle on the usgenweb New Madrid County site stating the following: James A. Westeman of Wess Twp. married Mary A. Cagle. John Cagle, father, consents on April 19, 1893 by E. Brand, Justice of the Peace. Since Lee so graciously sent us his website (THANK YOU by the way), I decided to check it out. Unaware that he basically had every Leonhart Kegel descendant on there, I wasn't disappointed. He had quite a few records of the same info I have on John and his family. Mary A. Cagle was listed as his daughter and her mother is listed as Sarah. You will note that you can find her in John Cagle's household at age 4 in the 1880 Census of Fannin County, Texas. I have yet to really work on her records, but now that I know that she is a member of the Morehouse Cagle's I will eventually get to it. Furthermore, David you might be interested to know that I found Dora Bishop's name as a wife of Henry Cagle (John's fourth son, I think) on Lee's page. Lee, I would love to know where you found the info that Henry C. Cagle married Dora Bishop. I've been trying to connect Frederick Cagle and Franklin Cagle into our line for a while and only had a hunch. The Cagle/Bishop marriage certificate/info has eluded me. Also, I note that Dora is living with Andrew Hayes in the 1900 census of New Madrid Co, MO directly next to John Cagle (b. 1853), but we also have Henry Cagle listed with first wife Ida in the 1900 census in Oklahoma City. How can this be? I'm a bit confused; did I miss something? Thanks for the wonderful info! --Micah R. Allen-- (Morehouse, New Madrid, MO Cagles) --------------------------------- Sick sense of humor?
