Hello board, Does anyone have an idea about who could be the father of the John Cagle, age 23, b. Sept 1876 in Mississippi, who was enumerated in the 1900 Tishomingo Co., MS, census with his grandmother, Sally Osborn. I also have a note that a John Cagle Married Sally Osborn in Tishomingo Co., MS, in 1876, but can't connect him to a family. Looks like the two Johns could be father and sons. I am trying to figure where they fit into the Cagle Family. Hope someone can help!

Hi all, Still looking for Gertude Cagle. Still haven't found anything on her. This is my gmother. All I know is by my mother's birth certificate is says she is 26 yrs old. That would make her borned in 1893 in Clinton, Kentucky. Also, found a census and on it, it said she was 36 and then she would of been borned in 1883. Any help would be appreciated. She was also known as Guity Mae or Gurity Mae. Have been looking for her for 5 years now. Have found a Gertude Cagle but borned in Arkansas and I can not make a connection anywheres. Hello list I have been inactive for a while due to the fact that we have moved into a new home that we had to remodel. What a job!! As I was trying to catch up with the wonderful work you've all done this summer, I ran across this concerning Jacob Cagle b: 1766. I am a direct decendent from this line and have documented census info from Hall Co. GA on this line. According to my info Jacob 1766-Oct 20 1856 married Elizabeth Gilmore 1770-1831. They had thirteen children, one of which was Mary (Polly) Cagle. Mary (Polly) married William C. Cagle (I suspect a cousin, but I'm not sure how they were related) Feb 20, 1820 in Habersham Co. GA. William C. Cagle is my big mystery, I do not know where he comes from and how he enters the line. Mary and William had eight children, one of which was David Crockett Cagle b: @1836. David was a brother to my ancestor Adler. I do not list any other info on David Crockett other than that he died in Wister, OK. Hopefully, this has been helpful. Hopefully it is correct. Hi Phil have you been seen are Cagle group?? CAGLE-L@rootsweb.com , we are just alot of Cagle families, that share information back and forth, it dosn't cost anything. You can ask any question you need help on and someone will try and help you. I know I have seen that name somewhere.
