She was 49. A chapel service was conducted Saturday at the Buchheim Palm-Colonial Funeral Chapel in Fresno. The Rev.Floyd Quenzer of the First United Methodist Church in Selma conducted the service. Internment was at St. Peter's Cemetery in Fresno. Mrs. Cervantes was born in Selma and had lived in Fresno for nine years. She was a supervisor for the Internal Reveneu Service in Fresno, where she had worked for 23 years. She was an avid sports enthusiast and a graduate of Selma High School.She is survived by her husband, Robert Cervantes of Fresno; her mother and stepfather, Gladys Helm Stevens and DeWeese Stevens of Selma; one son, Lance Coker of Clovis, and one stepson, Robert Cervantes, Jr. of Fresno; one daughter, Amber Coker Garcia of Valencia and one stepdaughter, Stephanie Cervantes of Fresno; two brothers, David Helm and Earl Helm, both of Selma; two sisters, Nora Helm Laikam of Fresno and Barba! ra Helm of Selma; and four grandchildren.
