I'm still a little new at doing research. I'm not sure about my wife's surnames, both the COLLA and CAIRE families appear in Texas and get married. Family history states that Joseph B. COLLA came over from Also Italy to work the oil fields as a welder, met and married into the CAIRE family. They must have had close family ties, they have moved from Thurbr, Eastland County, Texas to Fresno, CA. I was hoping someone in the CARIE family was doing research and could shed some light on where the family comes from. I understand that my wife has several cousins in the Fresno and Valley area.
