Hi! I never even thought of that...yes, it would be great to see if anything is listed about his parents. We're pretty sure he died of TB and had been cared for by his mother, Maria Castro. Another of her sons, Elario Castro died 28 Apr 1912, also of TB, also in Firebaugh, or that area. Both of these sons are listed in the 1910 Census but we have no idea who Pete's father was. Maybe an obit would tell us...possibly his death cert would have it. Can those still be ordered through Fresno County? In the past they were always THE very best and fastest to process orders.
