I can help by looking for Samuel L. MARTIN's obit, check the CADI pre-1940 he died San Joaquin County 12 -7- 1914. Do you already have that? Have you searched the CADI for William? MARTIN is a rather common surname. I am looking for a William T. Martin, born from the mid 1800's maybe in Tennessee, and had a daughter, Marion Martin. I know that William had a brother names James, (also many other siblings) and their father was names Samuel Lewis Martin, who died in San Joaquin County, in 1914. If this helps....Marion was a rodeo queen for the Salinas Rodeo.
