Vincent BERNARD in Merced Sun-Star - March 5, 1940 Funeral services for Vincent BERNARD, 24 year old highway accident victim, will be held Wednesday at the St. Alphonsius' church at Fresno. Burial at Holy Cross cemetera. Bernard, a Fresno resident, died in the Merced General hospital Sunday from injuries he received Thursday when he was struck by an automobile. I went back in the paper and got the article describing the accident - published March 1st. In Fresno Bee, Dorothy Helen JAMES - Sept 27, 1990 - got two articles on her. In Fresno Bee, Mike BERNARD - got one for him on Sep 19, 1949. and in Fresno Bee got obit for Martha BERNARD Oct 9, 1980 Okay, need your address to mail these to you. Yes these people are my relatives. My 88 year old uncle tells me that Martha and Mike had six children but I have only been able to find the three above. I have no access to obits so that would be a great help to me. Mike is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery but the genealogist there declined to provide any information on the burial plot card.
