    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Silva Sylvia Freitas De Silva Acevedo Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GW.2ADE/535.558.589.592.596.2 Message Board Post: I have found that it to be so strange that my family is from the "FRESNO" area - my paternal name is "SILVA" De Silva" "SYLVIA" I still don't know. However my grandfather was buried as Sylvia, and great grandfather as Silva. So this makes it very strange. I had one uncle who was in Fowler/Fresno area. He used to ride motorcycles, he was a man they called "Crazy Bob", he was married two or three times and his first wife was named Pauline "HOWEVER" he was named Bob. I am too related to the Freitas family name. My greatgrandmother on my paternal side is Freitas as well. I know the family meaning brothers all came over on the ship together as well as the sisters. They had many children, my great grandparents had quite a few kids. Let me know if anything looks like it makes sense. My grandfather's name was Manuel or Emanuel, "AKA TROUBLEMAKER" Please write to me if you know anything about my family. ***I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON A WOMAN THAT WAS MARRIED AT A YOUNG AGE IN LIFE TO MY GRANDFATHER, She was probably 15 years younger his age. NAMED MAGDELINA SYLVIA or SILVA?? If anyone knows of her or has information on her I would be most interested. She lived in Santa Barbara, California for a short period, then grandfather was killed in his 30's and we never knew her. Or did they ever have children???
