I do not recognize any of the other surnames, but that does not mean much as my Dad was not very close to his family. His mother was Alice Almeada Dewey, her father was Henry Charles Dewey, came from Canada about 1872 via Minnisota where henry lost his wife in child birth. Anyway, odd that they were all from Canada. My dad, Earl Thomas Brooke was born in Lemoore in 1891, he had one sister Edna that had no children. Well, I will try to keep in touch. In case you ever find where the Dewey first name comes from, it would be interesting to see if there is a connection. I know there was someone in the family who married a Roberts. Will look it up when I get home to the states in February. Alice
