This is my first posting on your list. I was born and raised in Fresno, but have lived away since 1959. I have been searching for an older cousin, who may, or may not still be alive. His name was Robert J. Boucher and he was from Fresno. I have a childs' story book that has his name and a date in it. I don't know if it's his birthdate. It's Dec. 7, 1927. I really feel that he would be a little older. I think it was a 5th birthday gift and his name was put into it at that time. Below, you can see the information that I was sent from a list member of NORCAL, that she found in the California Birth Index. I feel it is the same Robt. J. Boucher. It shows him being born in Kern County. His father was Herbert Boucher, who worked at the downtown Fresno's Montogomery Wards for many years in the furniture department. BOUCHER ROBERT J 1922 12 07 PADDOCK MALE KERN I have contacted everyone in Fresno with the name Boucher and called around to various other numbers, but to no avail. I do know that after the war he married and I think they had two children, a boy and a girl. The last time I saw Bob Boucher was in 1955. He was employed at the Best Foods distributorship in Fresno at the corner of Belmont and Ferger. Below, you can see the names that I think may be his children. This also came from a list member of NORCAL. These children were born in Fresno. Beverly Jane BOUCHER b.2-19-1953 mothers last name:WOODS Gary Robert BOUCHER b.9-21-1948 mothers last name:WOODS I have so much information for our family, that I'd love to be able to share with his children, if he is no longer living. We were the only children in the immediate family of our generation and he was much older, so I never had a lot of contact with him. I just knew that he had really great red hair, that I noticed, even as a child. I also have a wonderful picture of him in his uniform of World War II, when he was in the Army Air Corps. I'd be so grateful for any information that you may be able to give me to reach this family. I just want to share some of the history of the Bouchers and Cullens, that I have been accumulating through the years of research. I'm sure it would be something that they would be very happy to have. Thanks so very much, Rayene Boucher Sperbeck San Diego, CA
