    3. Deb-- I'll contradict you on your statement regarding it being the definitive history book of the county. It is so full of errors. He asked if he could copy some of my book, which he did, but mis-labeled pictures that he gleened from my book & I have no idea how many other errors in information other than what Clough copied from me. I just mention this so that someone don't consider his books the last answer in Fresno Co. History. Winchell, Elliott, Vandor, Smith, etc. are much more accurate. Donna Fresno County, the Pioneer Years: From the Beginnings to 1900 -- this is a large format hard cover book, this is volume I, there was a second one written to cover years after 1900. It's not easy to find this book at all, for any price. It was written by Charles Clough with the help of William Seacrest and others. For my money, these two books are the DEFINITIVE Fresno County Histories. The second volume, 1900-present (it was the 1980's, I think) is still available for sale by the Fresno County Historical Society. $49.99 -- ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø Every time I find an ancestor I need to find two more! ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø
