Or is his family listed in a Fresno city directory? Mr. Francis Clair KAUFMAN died 19 Aug 2001 Fresno, Calif. at age 91. He was born 7 Aug 1910 in Iowa, the son of Walter KAUFMAN. His mother died before he was 8 yrs old. He had a sister, Marie Catherine KAUFMAN who married in SD, Harry Leroy SHELP. He married 7 Jun 1937 in Garden city, Clark co, SD Edith V GOODELL.
