    1. Obit lookup - Three Children drowned MARIN
    2. Trisha Neal
    3. Would someone be able to look up an obituary for three children who drowned July 7, 1943 at Laton, CA. They were the children of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Marin, Laton district ranch workers. Their names and ages are: Ernestine Marin, age 18; Manuel Marin, age 17 and Ruby Marin, age 15. I have the news article on the drownings from ProQuest but could not find an obituary. Trying to determine if they may have been related to Frank and Letitia (Crafts) Marin of San Francisco. I'm more than happy to pay for copies and mailing. Thank you! Trish Coos Bay, OR 97420

    1. Brennan who died in Fresno county in 1980
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Brennan Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GW.2ADE/1683 Message Board Post: Looking for information on William L. Brennan. Born about 1906. Possibly in Wyoming. He died in Auberry, California in November of 1980. If you knew him after about 1950, there is a whole part to his life you may not know. I found out through Social Security that he was married several times after he left my grandmother but he did not list her as one of his wives. When we tried to help her apply for Social Security, she had to prove she had actually been married to THAT William Brennan. He married my grandmother, Irene Ruth Knoch in the late 1930's, or early 1940 in Fort Madison, Iowa. I believe he left them maybe around 1949 or early 1950's. I have no information or leads on his life before he married Irene, or where he went after he left her and their children. I have heard from his children they believe he was still in Fort Madison for a while after leaving them. Through a nice lady at social security I found out his father's name may have been William Brennan, and his m! others name Esther Wheeler. Not sure if the spelling is correct. I also believe he was married more than once after leaving Iowa, and did not necessarily get divorced each time before marrying again. He claimed to have a twin sister. Claimed to have been involved in the rodeo in Wyoming in his younger days. My father remembers him being a brick layer by trade. Any possible leads would be so greatly appreciated. Or any ideas on possible ways to search further for him. I do have his SSN, but not sure how much help that is. Can find no evidence of his birth so far. I would love to know more about him or the people who shared his life after he left my father and his brothers and sisters. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    2. Hi Bill, Because Alfred Earl was born after the last available census, I am guessing here. But in the 1930 census in West Virginia, this family is still growing, with a young wife and with an eldest son with same name. (The first four children are from a first marriage) It is a possibility? Take a gander and see if this might be them. If so, we might be able to find further data on the family from earlier census years. Let us know? Hope this helps a little JAL 1930 US CENSUS West Virginia. Webster County.
