The first LEON is Jorge -from Spain- adopted/raised by George & Hannah TAYLOR. He married their daughter Mary Eliza, and had 4-5 children, their children where either Katherine, George T and 2 girls OR George T., Mary E., Katie, John and Lydia. Katherine married Colby/COLBY and had a daughter Ella who married Joe KLEIN and had 2 children: Leon and Mildred. One of the girls married Lavery/LAVERY and had Nellie who married a Henri HENRIOLLE. George T. was born in Massachusetts and married Margaret MCCLOY from Ireland, and they moved to California in the mid-1800s. I believe they were in Oakland for a while then in San Francisco. He died in Alameda Co. in 1912, and she died in San Francisco in 1915. They had 4 children: George A., Katie Helen, Mary Eliza, and Edward Henry. Mary was born in Hangtown (now Placerville) Calif. in 1862. Mary married Frank CALLISCH, and had 3 children: Frank Leon– I know this line, George E., a! nd Vivian Irene. Vivian married Edwin ATKINSON and had 2 daughters: Florence and Marjorie. George A. married a May ROC... and had 3 children Esther, Bernice, and Herbert. They lived in Fowler, CA in 1915. Katie married Henry/Harry WOODFORD and lived in San Francisco for a time. They had 2 children: Ruth and Maude Helen. Maude married a Charles MCDONALD and they had 3-4 sons: Russell, Edward, George and possibly a Richard. Edward Henry married Grace LUPTON and lived in San Francisco. They had 8 children: Ralph, Alvin, Grace, George, Marvin, Fellows, Edward/Edwin and Roy. Grace married and had a daughter Marquita. Marvin and Fellows lived with Mary and Frank CALLISCH after their father died in 1915. Marvin married Prudehomme/PRUDEHOMME. Edward/Edwin died as an infant and Roy as a child. I would love to hear from anyone with whom this sounds familiar.
