I am new to this list and am hoping to find some descendants of Harvey Girdine Balch b. abt 1843 NC d. abt 1909/11 (where I don't know) who married Margaret Jane Faubion abt 1866 in Cocke co. Tennessee. I just found out that one of their sons, H. Earl Balch born abt 1877 Cocke Co. TN who married Blanche Bunch lived in Rescue, California in June 1949. As far as I know they had at least one daughter, Juanita but have no other information on this family. I just searched the online county records and found a Harvey Michael Balch who married Mayhew Debra Leonard 14 Oct 1995 & Nina Ann Balch married Jeffrey Paul Gilly 18 Oct 1998. Does anyone know these Balch's who might live in El Dorado County? I am hoping they are my cousins. There also was another son, Ralph O. Balch b. abt 1881 but I have no other information on him.
