Hmm, might this have been the 'Waterman Cady" mentioned in the will of Timothy Puffer's widow, Mary? I know the census for 1820 shows Timothy and Mary raising children that are not their own. I am wondering if this "Waterman Cady" died and left his children for his Aunt and Uncle to raise? This would explain why they are the only Waterman/Cady children mentioned in the will. What a mystery to me. June
