Regarding June's post about her foremother Elizabeth Cady Puffer, in her second letter she mentions a Lydia Cady as possibly being a daughter of Ebenezer and Prudence (Palmer) Cady, and that she intended to marry Josiah Sabin, possibly in Shaftbury, VT. I have different information, obtained from LDS Ancestral file and also from the Sabin Society. Lydia Cady, b 1760 in Dalton, Berkshire, MA, d. 11 Feb 1849/50 in Howard, Stueben, MA. Parents were William Cady, b 8 Jun 1729, Plainfield, Windham, MA., and Lydia Waterman, b 1739, Dalton, Berkshire, MA. She married Josiah Sabin 22 Jul 1779, Pittsfield, Berkshire, MA. I hope this information helps. Also, what is the name of the "CADY" book, who is the author and is it still available and where?
