He was of an engaging aspect and deportment: His genuis naturally elevated was culivated by reading and intercourse with mankind.He had a happy facility in the dispatch of business --was exemplary in the discharge of every social duty, civil or domestic. A professor of the Christian faith, a blessing to mankind. He rests not here, he drowned returning to New York.11-28-1783 in the 40th year of his age. The Glory of man is as the flower of the field.
