I have a mystery on a Harold Cady that is a relative of mine that was killed in action in 1944.He was a nephew of my great uncle Simeon Cady of Horseheads, NY. Harold's wife was Mrytle Owens and he had a daughter Paula Jean Cady.They lived in Hornell, NY at the time of his death. I found this newspaper article in my mother's deceased cousins widow's scrap book.Headlines read Simeon Cady notified of unfortunate death of nephew Harold Cady.It did not mention anything about parents,sisters or brothers. This leads me to believe his parents were deceased.Does anyone know who Harold Cady was.I would like to put him on our Cady tree where he belongs.My mother's cousin's wife in her 80's had no memory of this and no one else left in that generation to ask.
