In my search for Sally Cady b. 1801/2 m. 1820 to Alex McFarland at the Beneficent Cong Church - I was able to find a church roster and David Cady who m. Roxalanah Hutchins Aug 14,1800 became members of this church at Providence in 1820 - how coincidental. Davids line (David,David,David,Joseph,Nicholas) Roxalana was the dau of Schubael Hutchins and Avis Borden of Killingly. The Nicholas Cady has David death date attributed to his wife I believe in 1821 and according to the newspaper he left 10 children - if this is so then the Gen doesnt have all the children listed properly or completely. Here goes. notice that the early births arent abt and then later they must have been recorded. Clarrisa Hutchins b. 1801 m. 1820 to John Lloyd Albert Martin b. 1803 d Oct 1820 in his 18th yeat Schubael H. b. Feb 3, 1806 Caroline R. Mar 13, 1808 David C. Oct 29, 1809 Roxalana L. Dec 30,1810 d. 1811 Avis M. b. May 7, 1812 d. Jul 16,1812 Mary Ann b. Dec1,1814 d. 1832 Frances A. b. Jun 1,1816 . d 1816 Roxanna H. b. 1819 d. 1825 He might have had 10 children but 4 of them died before he did. The only other member I can find at this church was Lawton Cady son of David of Capt Johnathan. This Davids son Milton was also buried in the same cemetary as my Sarah but due to the common disinterrments I dont put much stock into the relation. One more tidbit on the David who m.
