Hello everyone, I trust this finds everyone enjoying a wonderful summer. Welcome to all new members, and Shirley, I hope you are feeling better now. Tom, your recent post regarding Nicholas Cady being the "father" of most of the descendants in the US started me wondering. There are many such families that came of one particular immigrant ancestor--there are four such lines I can think of right off in my husband's and my families. I would like to know your opinions regarding the Cadys--Can anyone think of any other Cady who came over and started a line, or does it seem that Nicholas was the only one. I am wondering this because my Cadys do not show up in the Nicholas Cady genealogy, although they lived in the same region. Sue Cady List Manager
